Billing/Payment

Consultation Fees

Consultation fees vary depending if you are a self-pay patient or covered by private medical health insurance; confirmed by email following an appointment request.

You may need certain tests (such as blood tests or imaging, for example an X-ray, MRI or CT scan) to help diagnose your condition.  If the test is undertaken by the clinic or hospital, and not by your treating consultant, the fees for those tests will be determined by the clinic or hospital and charged to you, or your private medical insurer, separately.

Self-pay Patients

Please contact us for your chosen consultant’s fees.

Insured Patients

We are fee assured with the following private medical insurers:

April UK, Aviva, AXA PPP, Benenden, Bupa, Cigna, Freedom Health, Healix, Health Online, Simply Health, The Exeter, Vitality Health, and WPA.

Please contact your insurer before your consultation to check the terms of your policy, particularly the level and type of outpatient cover you have, including any reimbursement limits on individual consultation fees.  Please note that you are responsible for any fees not covered by your insurer.

Cancelling Your Appointment

Should you need to rearrange your appointment, we will happily do so but would appreciate more than 24 hours’ notice otherwise a cancellation fee may be charged.

Payment

Self-pay invoices are sent by encrypted email following your consultation.

Invoices are sent directly to your health insurance provider for settlement following your consultation. Once notified that an excess is due to us by your health insurance provider, a shortfall invoice will be sent by encrypted email to you.

Payment is required within 15 days either by bank transfer or cheque only.
